现在我们70后、80后甚至90后的母亲一般都有基本的英语能力。所以妈妈们教孩子简单的名词、动词甚至小句子，结合市面上的优质英文绘本和分级读物，并不是太难。但是大多数妈妈都会面临一个困境:除了这些，我还能告诉孩子什么？尤其是有些妈妈是英语老师，总觉得这样的英语启蒙缺什么？

是啊，缺少的是更高端的语言。例如，My little treasure, I love you. You are indispensable to me. You are the whole world to me.有些妈妈会担心这些抽象的语言，这样说宝宝能听懂吗？事实上，你不必担心。正如这个英语所说，高级语言，需要思考的语言，有利于婴儿大脑的发育。从我刚才提到的这一系列句子中，妈妈们都会说。I love you，通过母亲说I love you宝宝应该能慢慢理解时间的语气、眼神和动作。I love you的意思。所以这时我们要是把“My little treasure, I love you. You are indispensable to me. You are the whole world to me.”这个长长的句子连在一起，婴儿的大脑将再次积极地处理信息。因此，这个过程有利于儿童大脑的发育。
