从前，动物们聚集在一起，在森林里开会。会议的主题是“谁会成为国王？”然而，他们之间没有统一的观点。

过了一段时间，兔子建议，“最好的舞者当国王怎么样？”“是的，听起来不错，”其他动物附和道。因此，每只动物都轮流跳跃和跳跃。然而，没有动物能比得上猴子的灵活性。

动物们为猴子鼓掌。“哇，猴子跳得最好。让猴子成为国王。”结果，猴子成了国王。猴子成为国王后，狡猾的狐狸非常嫉妒。“这样愚蠢的动物怎么可能成为国王？太搞笑了！

有一天，狐狸在散步时发现了一个肉陷阱。小心翼翼地拿起这个陷阱，把它呈现给猴子国王。

"国王！我发现了一个宝藏。这件事真的很精致。""快给我看看。"猴子非常兴奋，毫无准备地走近这个陷阱。

And the monkey fell into the snare. "Snap!" "Ouch!" shouted the monkey with surprise. The monkey realized he got caught in a trap and blamed the fox. "You deceived me. What a bad fox!"

就这样，猴子掉进了陷阱。快点！”“哎哟！”猴子惊讶地喊道。当猴子意识到自己被困在陷阱里时，他开始指责狐狸。“你骗我。你真是个坏心狐狸！”

Then, the fox laughed at the monkey and said, "You stupid monkey! How embarrassing it is for us to have such a fool like you as a king!"

接着，狐狸笑着说：“你这只笨猴子！像你这样的傻瓜国王，我们多尴尬啊！”

之后，狐狸就消失了。此后，猴子因其不理智的行为而成为其它动物的笑话。
