Live Like a Child

活得像个孩子

My family has been adopted recently.

最近我家收养了一只猫。

It appears that a sweet, stray（迷路） kitten about five months old has taken us to be her family.

一只五个月大的流浪猫选择了我们作为她的家庭。

这只猫先找到了我的妻子，然后完全俘获了她的心。

She then proceeded to love her way into each of my children's hearts and my own as well.

随后她继续将爱深入我的每一个孩子的心中，以及我的心中。

It is such a joy watching my children pet her, play with her, and love her so happily.

看着孩子们抚摸她，和她一起玩，如此快乐地爱着她，是一种享受。

It reminds me of all the simple joys that I cherished in my own childhood:

这让我想起了童年简单的简单幸福：

petting dogs, holding kittens, riding bikes, playing ball, and swinging on swings.

抚摸小狗，抱着小猫，骑自行车，打球，还有秋千。

The funny thing is that I still enjoy many of these things today. Maybe I still have the heart of a child.

My wife once showed me an article about how children and adults see things differently and I found myself agreeing with the children on every point.

If you ask me(我想) having a child's heart is a pretty good thing.

Children take joy freely wherever they can find it. Adults tend to hold back on their joy for fear of being called immature（不成熟）.

在任何能找到幸福的地方，孩子们都能自由地享受幸福。成年人通常会抑制自己的快乐，因为害怕被称为不成熟。

Children tend to accept and love people unconditionally. Adults tend to judge and reject others without getting to know them.

儿童通常无条件地接受和爱护他人。在不认识别人之前，成年人往往会评价和拒绝他人。

Children tend to live and find happiness in the present moment. Adults tend to live in guilt about the past and worry about the future.

孩子们通常生活在这一刻，享受幸福。成年人通常生活在对过去生活的内疚和对未来生活的担忧中。

Don't be afraid to live as a child then. Don't be afraid to play with a dog, cuddle（拥抱） a cat, and swing on a swing.

所以不要害怕像孩子一样生活。不要害怕和狗玩耍，和猫拥抱，荡秋千。

Don't be afraid to enjoy the moment, to love other people, and to find fun and joy everywhere.

不要害怕去享受现在，去关心别人，去发现生活中无处不在的快乐和喜悦。
