《The Laughing Princess》一个不会笑的公主

这不禁让我想起一句话：父母爱他们的孩子，这是一个影响深远的计划。孩子们的每一次皱眉和微笑都会影响到父母的心。不管事情有多小，都不能马虎。这是人们的心。只有当你有了孩子，你才能知道父母的辛勤工作。

Chip had a new book. It was baout a princess who couldn't laugh Nobody could make her laugh.

奇普得到了一本新书。这本书写了一个不会笑的公主，有人能让她笑。

Chip had an idea.

奇普想出了一个主意。

"Try and make me laugh," he said. Biff made a funny face, but she couldn't make Chip laugh.

想办法让我笑出来，他对比弗说。比弗做了个鬼脸，但她没能让奇普笑出来。

Biff put on a funny wig. She told a funny joke, but she still couldn't make Chip laugh.

比弗戴着一顶搞笑的假发。然后讲了一个很搞笑的笑话，但是她从来没有让奇普笑过。

"It's no good," she said.

她已经放弃了。

Kipper had some joke teeth. The joke teeth were new. The teeth went click, click, click,click. Everyone laughed and laughed.

基普有一个有趣的假牙。有趣的假牙是一种新的玩具。假牙会上上下下。每个人都觉得好笑。

The magic key began to glow. The children ran into Biff's room. The magic took them on a new adventure.

The children were in a village. They saw a notice on a tree. It was aboout a princess who couldn't laugh.

Kipper had an idea. He still had the joke teeth.

基普想出了一个主意。

"I can make the princess laugh,"he said.

我可以让公主笑出声来。

The king was in the village. A girl told him a joke.

国王来到村子里。大家排队轮流给国王讲笑话。一个女孩给国王讲了一个笑话。

"That's not funny," said the king."That won't make the princess laugh."

国王说：这一点也不好笑。

"Who's next?" called the king.

国王问：谁是下一个？

"I am," said a man.

一个男人回答：我是。

"Oh no!" groaned the king. "Not another chicken!"

哦王呻吟道：这不会是另一个鸡的故事！

The children went to the king.

孩子们走到国王面前。

"We can make the princess laugh," said Biff.

比弗说：我们可以让公主笑出声来。

"How?" asded the king.

国王问：怎么逗公主？

The teeth went click, click, click. Everyone laughed and laughed.

假牙上弦开始上下起伏。每个人都笑得前仰后合。

"That will make the princess laugh," said the king.

这一定会逗乐公主国王也觉得很搞笑。

Kipper dropped the teeth. A dog caught them and ran off with them in its mouth.

假牙从基普手里掉了下来。一只狗迅速地把它叼在嘴里，迅速地跑开了。

"Stop that dog!" shouted the king. "Stop that dog and get the teeth."

拦住那条狗国王赶紧喊道：拦住那条狗，把假牙抢回来。

Everyone ran after the dog.

每个人都追着狗跑。

"Get the teeth!" shouted the king.

国王怒吼牙！

The dog was too fast. Nobody could catch it.

狗跑得太快了，没人能追上它。

"Stop that dog!" shouted the king.

国王一直喊着：抓住那条狗！

The dog ran this way and that. People tried to grab it, but it was too fast.

小狗带着假牙到处跑。每个人都试图抓住它，但是它的速度太快了。

"Get the teeth!" shouted Kipper.

基普还喊着：取回假牙！

The king ran after the dog. Everyone ran after the king. The king fell over.

国王追着狗。每个人都追着狗跑。最后国王摔倒了。

The dog saw a bone and it stoped. Chip grabbed the dog and the dog dropped the teeth.

结果，狗在路上看到了一根骨头。为了得到骨头，奇普抓住了小狗，小狗放弃了假牙。

Kipper picked up the joke teeth. Everyone looked at them. The teeth were broken.

拿起假牙。每个人都看着他们，但是假牙已经损坏了。

"Oh no!" said the king.

哦不！

The king put the teeth on a cushion.

把假牙放在垫子上。

"What a pity!" he said. "Now they won't make the princess laugh."

真可怜啊现在没有什么能让公主笑起来的。

The princess heard the noise. She looked out of a window. She saw the king and she started to laugh.

公主听到外面的噪音。她从窗口探出身来看。看到国王的装扮，她开始大笑。

The king had mud on his clothes. He had the teeth on the cushion. He looked so funney that the princess laughed and laughed.

国王的衣服上沾满了泥土。他把假牙放在垫子上。他看上去很搞笑，公主看到这样装扮的国王开始大笑。

The king looked at the princess.

国王看着公主。

"I've made the princess laugh," he said. Everyone laughed and cheered.

国王高兴地说：我终于把你逗笑了。每个人都笑出声来，一起欢呼。

The magic key began to glow. The magic took the children home. But nobody saw the children go. Everyone was laughing.

魔法钥匙开始发光。魔法把孩子们带回家。但是没有人看到这一幕。因为每个人都在笑。

"What made the princess laugh?" asked Kipper.

基普很疑惑地道：究竟是什么让公主发笑？

"I don't know," said Chip, "but people laugh at silly things."

我不知道。但是人们嘲笑愚蠢的事情。
