Ring the Doorbell 按门铃

Stepping from my kitchen (厨房) into the garage (车库), I accidentally locked myself out of the house.

从厨房出来，我走进车库，不小心把自己锁在了房间外面。

When I tried to persuade my 18-month-old son，Taylor, to open the door, none of my tactics (策略) worked.

我试图说服我18个月大的儿子泰勒出来帮我开门，但是没有办法有用。

Finally，I walked around the house to check for an open window.

最后，我围着房子找了一扇开着的窗户。

To my amazement，I found the front door open and Taylor standing there with a salesman (销售员) .

"I've been locked out for 20 minutes," I said, "How did you get him to open the door?"

我被锁在外面20多分钟，我对他说：你是怎么让他为你开门的？

Looking puzzled，the man replied： “I just rang the doorbell (门铃)."
