驴和哈巴狗（Donkeys and haba dogs）

一个人养了一头驴和一只哈巴狗。驴子整天被关在篱笆里。虽然他们不担心吃喝，但他们每天都要做很多工作。他们要么去磨坊，要么在树林里搬运木材，要么把货物运到市场上。工作特别繁重。哈巴狗和驴子的命运有很大的不同。它会玩很多小把戏，做很多有趣的动作，尤其能让主人高兴，主人会给它一些美味的东西，晚上主人会出去散步。工作之余，驴子难免心存不平，自己累死累活，还得不到自由，而哈巴狗什么都不用做却能得到临幸。这一天，机会终于来了，驴子扭断了缰绳，跑进了主人的房间，它决定像哈巴狗一样逗主人开心。也许主人会自己出去玩一天。驴子看见主人围着他跳舞，可是它的腿撞倒了桌子，盘子被砸碎了，然后又撞倒了椅子。驴子觉得这样不够亲热，于是就像哈巴狗一样，趴在主人身上，伸出舌头舔脸。主人被他吓坏了，以为驴子疯了，也不敢反抗，只是在那里大喊大叫。驴子认为主人喜欢自己这样，越是兴奋起来。大家听到大喊大叫，急忙赶到，把驴子拖了出来。驴子等着主人奖励自己，没想到反而被打了一顿，然后又被关进了栏子。 寓意:人最愚蠢的行为就是因为羡慕别人而否定自己，甚至迷失自己；人们更糟糕的行为是故意模仿别人，这相当于自杀。
